Selection of cold meats.
Salami, smoked cheese, peppered salami, jagdwurst, schinkenwurst, Stuttgarter, Jarlsberg* , pickle small gherkins and wheatgerm bread and a large bottle of Warsteiner.
*yeah, I know Jarlsberg is Norwegian but it’s nice cheese and seems we don’t stock much in the way of German cheese.
Italian, French, British, Spanish and Polish, ye’, loads, but German, not so much.

Having a beer for breakfast isn’t the German way. Most would have coffee, then not drink anything but coffee until lunch. THEN the beer train leaves the station. But I’m not judging, I had an Asahi with a glass of juice for breakfast on the weekend... then ate a plate of bacon...

Ye', mines German-'ish', as it's also post night shift. Lol.

I did night-shift for a ten year run. Was weird in that I needed less sleep and could eat like a horse. Now that I work 8-5 I need more sleep and eat way less.

I’ve been on nights for over 15 years.
I used to just eat anything, now though I still eat quite a bit, I put more effort into making what I eat.

Me too, but I have to eat it fast before he catches me.

I kinda realized I should eat more “real” food when I hit 30.
